Every Thursday this off season, my wife Katie and I have played a Thursday night music residency at Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven, MA. It’s sort of like our date night. We set up beside the windows overlooking the harbors, enjoy an adult beverage, and Katie regals everyone with her beautiful balladry and jazz crooning. They put up with some features from yours truly as well.
Anyway, this past Thursday Katie couldn’t make it, so the patrons at Black Dog got a little more twang than usual. I didn’t do so bad if I do say so myself (I often do, don’t I?)…you decide for yourself, as the recording is conveniently to be found at the bottom of this post!
